Car history:
1970 Corvette LT1 LOW RESERVE. Car is in good shape but has been sitting for 4 years, It has been outside so its not perfect by any means, The car comes with 2 engines the one in the car which runs great and the original short block (yes the engine numbers match the VIN as do the transmission numbers) I do not know why the engine was replaced. It does have the original intake manifold, and the transmission was rebuilt, The rear is 3.70 Posi. The chassis is in excellent shape with no rot. The car was extensively restored about five years ago from the receipts I have (they total over 30k) and include new stainless brake calipers, master cylinder, brake lines and fuel lines, all new suspension with bearings and bushings, new forward harnesses, door panels, carpet, dash pad, vacuum harnesses, brake hoses, power steering hoses and power steering ram, headlight canisters, exhaust, front coil springs, shocks, rebuilt training arms, both the upper and lower front and rear control arms were rebuilt with new bushings and bearings, rebuilt steering box, rebuilt half shafts, the bumpers were new and all but one is in great shape (right rear got damaged and rusted pretty bad, I have a great one if whoever gets the car wants it). The list goes on and on and is extensive but again the car sat outside and looks terrible underneath, (surface rust and general crud). Topside is nice, paint shines although there are 2 spots where the paint is chipped off (see pictures). Inside looks great. starts and drives fine. The car needs to be gone through and restored again in my opinion, things like the headlights are lazy and sometimes don't work, and the fuel gauge doesn't work, clock doesn't work. I am trying to give an accurate description with no surprises, its a good car that has been neglected. IT IS A TRUE LT1 and I have a clean title in hand. Sold for $15,600 on November 20, 2016.
